Dairy Cattle Judging CDE

On Saturday, March 28th, the Athens FFA took fifth in the Section 14 Dairy Cattle Judging CDE. Six members from our chapter headed to the Irwin family farm in Lincoln, Illinois, to take part in the event. Judging consisted of three classes of Holsteins and one class of Jerseys, each with four members. Contestants checked for dairy character, symmetry, and overall structure to determine their placings.
Congratulations to the team for placing fifth and Justin Myers for placing fourth in this CDE.
