Section 14 Ag Communications

Six members, from the Athens FFA Chapter attended the 2017 Section 14 Agriculture Communications Night. The activities took place on March 15, 2017 at Pleasant Plains High School. Students traveled from schools like PORTA, Greenview, and Williamsville to attend this event. Topics discussed were press releases, job interviews, and social media. Presenters for the evening were the Section 14 Officer Team and Zach Becker, Illinois FFA State Reporter. By attending this event students gained communications skills that will benefit them throughout the year when promoting agriculture education and the FFA. These FFA members will be "Maximizing" their communications through "ag-vocating" this year!
