Come Claim Delicious Produce!

Eating healthy never goes out of style, and the Athens FFA Chapter is encouraging Athens residents to add all natural color to your plate with the fresh produce at the Athens Community Garden.

Since March, Athens FFA members have been spending their time working at the Athens Community Garden. After hours of hard work, it's finally getting close to harvest time. We welcome all residents of Athens to come to the garden and pick what they'd like, at absolutely no cost. The garden has a selection of produce to choose from, including: sweet corn, tomatoes, potatoes, carrots, and eggplant.

Community service is vital to all FFA members, as the last phrase of the FFA motto is "living to serve". Healthy foods can often be expensive. Not everyone has accessibility to fresh vegetables. The Athens FFA Chapter has chosen to make a difference in the lives of many local citizens by making it possible for those who wouldn't normally be able to get fresh produce. However, the community garden is available to everyone, and we encourage as many people to come as people.
