On December 11, five members of the Athens FFA traveled to U of I to participate in the State Dairy Food Competition. The team placed 21st as a whole, with Melodie Starkey placing 60th, Skyla Jewell placing 75th, Baylee Horton placing 90th, Sydnee Magerl placing 97th and Brodee Mccormick placing 98th out of 135 individuals.
